I bought canvas and oil paintings after 30 years. I don't know what to do yet but I must say you were my only inspiration

These last two are way into abstract as you've never been before!

I like them and also the fact that you are using art to express all that pain and despair we get from the news. I am very glad you are painting like this Diane!

Yes, going out today and I had my granddaughter yesterday. I have a piece I'm trying to work on, not going so well , I might be at the wrecked canvas stage. How about you ?

I'm glad Diane! real life with friends and relatives can relieve some from the global feeling of decay and sadnes...

I met a couple of collagists down here (thanks to Laura Tringali) and it's been really nice; I'm making a trade with one of them: I'll help her with her networking in English, and I'll be collaging at her workshop on Mondays :D (collage isn´t really my main thing but it has always been there to introduce cool changes in my life!).

The other is a tiny project with another friend, to produce and sell decoration prints and objects for babies, using the characters of my picture books. There's too much work in them and I'm not finding a publisher (the one in Mexico had financial trouble and backed out). We're going to try to sell through the internet (there's a local platform which is really going on here). Wish us luck!

I do wish you luck my friend . I'm so glad you met these artists it sounds like fun to have someone to work with. Was it on Facebook that I saw picture of a collagists studio?

Very textural and interesting in it's simplicity.  You should list all of the media used here.

I'm sick of flags , sick of borders , sick of corrupt governments. People , it should just be about people. All people with enough to eat, a place to live, peace in which to raise their children. What the hell is wrong with humanity.

Makes me think of Tom Waits's song "Hoist That Rag."

I like Waits but I don't follow him - my son gave me the album with that song on it a few years ago.
